gnucash-common software package provides personal and small-business financial-accounting software, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnucash-common
gnucash-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnucash-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnucash-common *
You will get with gnucash-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
